Traditional Pottery in Armolia | Chios

Chios island has a tradition in ceramics, which can be found in several villages, but Armolia (one of the 21 mastic villages of Chios, west of Kalamoti, on the road leading to the other mastic islands, Pyrgi, Olympi, Mesta) is the center of this tradition (its name means the land with cracks, because the main material was clay used for ceramics).
