Lake Kremasta (or Lake Kremaston) is an artificial lake close to Karpenisi, in the region of Evrytania, the largest of this kind in Greece. Apart from Karpenisi, other areas close to the lake are Agrinio, Amfilochia and Agrafa. The construction of the relevant dam, Kremasta, was finalized in 1965, concentrating the water of 4 significant rivers of the area, Acheloos, Tavropos, Trikeriotis and Agrafiotis.
