The last eruption of Nisyros Volcano Greece took place in 1888 and today there are active fumaroles on the island. Due to volcanic activity, Nisyros has thermal springs with a temperature of 30 to 60 °C, of which the main ones are in Loutra and Palos.

A volcanic structure rises to about 700 meters, giving the highest altitude of the island. The experience of a flight with helicopter over the caldera is definitely worth it.

The Nisyros Volcano James Bond matter: It is said that part of the James Bond Film "Moonraker" was filmed in the crater!
